 2009 I, Alex Kamenev was born on May 18 in Kharkov, Ukraine. Back in Ukraine I attended and finished junior musical school, where I was introduced to a variety of musical instruments. I also attended dance school with concentration on funk, hip-hop and breakdancing. In 1999 my family and I immigrated to Chicago. After I adjusted to the American culture I have decided to contribute more of my time to "Rap", back then I was inspired by stuff like Eminem, Snoop D, Dr. Dre, etc. and wanted to create something similar if not different... Unfortunately it was not as easy to do so in English, so I decided to start my musical career in Russian. On December 23, 2003 I wrote my first song and haven't looked back since. Recently, as my English improved tremendously I started looking into different styles of music, such as: heavy rock, rapcore and pop music. I am now more concentrated on creating my own musical style, however it will have to be in Russian for now. But with support of others I am hoping to soon launch an album in English as well. Besides the music I also enjoy breakdancing. Unfortunately my breakdancing was interrupted by a wrist injury. I have been rehabbing it for the past couple of months and am looking forward to getting back on the dance floor. Until I am a musical sensation I still have to earn a living, currently I am full time IT Consultant for one of the industry's leading corporations. If you have viewed my videos you might see that I also have a creative side, that is something that I like to do in my spare time.
